Hi, I’m Jonah! I am originally from Oregon but moved out to Las Vegas after graduating high school. I went on receive my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. During my undergraduate career I spent a lot of time in and out of the Academic Advising Center and other student support services. I was able to build a strong support network, and thanks to that I was able to pick myself up when things didn’t go as expected and find a path forward that I could feel confident in. I spent my senior year working as the first Peer Career Coach on campus and was able to provide that same support I had been receiving to other students, and I fell in love with helping others and supporting students in such a pivotal time. Now I’m honored to be here at Nevada State College serving as an Academic Advisor. I hope to continue to help students grow and flourish in their degree and in whatever direction life may take them, just as others have done for me.
