As a teacher educator, I am intrigued by the brain and its ability to master massive amounts of material presented in a myriad of ways during the day. Working with PK-12 students with disabilities, and witnessing their breakthroughs and resilience, motivated me to become an educator. Diversity in all forms and using high impact instructional practices remain my primary research interests.
