Adam Davis, Ph.D.

I studied film production at the University of Utah and received my MFA in Screenwriting from Chapman University. My PhD from Southern Illinois University focused on intersections between cinema and digital media. I joined NSC in 2012 and teach a variety of film production classes, including photography, cinematography, screenwriting, editing, and sound; oversee advanced cinema production; and teach film and animation theory courses as well. I love building sets and making films with students, and am channeling my personal interest in music into coursework in film scores and a digital music program.
