  • Already have a bachelor’s degree? Apply for our Teacher Preparation and Speech Pathology programs that lead to teacher licensure through the Nevada Department of Education. When can you start?

  • Are you a current or provisionally licensed teacher with a full-time position in the Clark County School District (CCSD)? Complete the Alternative Route to Certification (ARC) in autism or generalist, or the Alternative Route to Licensure (ARL) if previously accepted by CCSD. (Substitute licenses excluded.) Apply now for the current or future term!

Are you building, or do you aspire to, a career in K-12 education? Our School of Education (SoE) offers programs leading to essential educational benchmarks. Whether you want professional development or training credits towards a degree, teacher licensure, a teaching endorsement, or a path into speech-language pathology, our flexible course formats are designed to reach and teach you where you are via lecture capture, live simulcast, and online. Our offerings continue to grow and adapt in response to the changing needs of K-12 constituents throughout our state. Our speech-language pathology program is innovative with evidence based practice for all ages – children and adults.

To best serve Nevada’s diverse and continually broadening education community, we provide a fast-track post-baccalaureate teacher education program, and Alternative Route to Licensure (ARL) coursework that assists in meeting licensure provisions.

If you’re looking to make an impact in the Clark County School District, our SoE Post Baccalaureate program provides you rigorous pedagogy and content courses, so you can BE LICENSED to teach in high-need areas such as elementary education, special education generalist and autism, and secondary math and science.
