Orientation programs at Nevada State are designed to assist you with the transition process to college. Orientation is the first building block to develop the traits necessary to be successful in your Nevada State collegiate experience.
At NS student safety is one of our top priorities. To ensure student safety NSC’s New Student Orientation (NSO) for summer 2021 is two-part online program for students that provides information and academic guidance as students begin their NSC journey. At Nevada State College we want to do everything we can to put you on a degree pathway to success. In doing so, we need to ensure that you are taking courses that apply toward the completion of a declared program of study (in this case, a major or minor). If the schedule created for you does not work due to extenuating circumstances, you may petition the Academic Advising Center for a schedule change. You may request a schedule change here.
