The LAS mission statement asks us to help our students “become independent thinkers and lifelong learners who can express themselves creatively and solve problems effectively.” The Minor in Art speaks directly to this mission. The variety of art classes it requires gives students a strong foundation in artistic production and a wide-range of mediums for creative expression.
