Immerse yourself in Spanish language learning

If you are a native speaker of Spanish who already has some linguistic background with the language, the Spanish Heritage Minor is for you. It is designed to facilitate the transition into speaking and writing Spanish in academic and professional settings. The purpose of the program is to enable students, whose heritage language is Spanish, to develop, maintain, and enhance proficiency in Spanish by providing them the opportunity to listen, speak, read, and write in a variety of contexts. Cultural practices and customs of the Spanish-speaking world will be examined through the use of critical thinking and by comparing them with their own cultural practices.
