Our office includes a director, academic success coach and more than 20 Nursing Course Assistants who fulfill roles as SI Leaders, Tutors, and Peer Assistant Lab Specialists (PALS). The Nursing CA is a paid position that students in the School of Nursing hold.

Baden Fox

Hey everyone! My name is Baden (pronounced Bay-den). On my birth certificate actually my parents first put the “y” in the name and then decided to cross it out. I am named after the founder of the Boy Scouts program Baden Powell. I’m from Spokane, Washington and did my master’s at Gonzaga University (Go Zags!). I worked in student affairs at Gonzaga for a little bit then worked at the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) for four years. I recently earned my doctorate in higher education from KU as well. Before my higher education career, I worked with the Taco Time fast food franchise. I love working with students and helping you all succeed! I’m happy to talk anytime and help you navigate resources or success strategies. Thanks!

Howdy y’all! Can you guess where I am from? You guessed it! I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. I am currently working on my doctoral degree from Grand Canyon University and my focus is in organizational leadership. I have been in higher education since 2015 as an academic advisor, degree evaluator and program administrator for medical/traditional students. I enjoy helping students maintain their educational goals. Something fun about me is I am a major fashionista, I love clothes and makeup. If you ever see me around ask to see my nails, they usually have some sort of cool designs. I look forward to working with you all. See you around!
