Nevada State College's School of Nursing and Basic High School have teamed to provide the award-winning School Based Health Center (SBHC) and its much-needed services to local young people attending area schools.

o combat Nevada's nursing shortage, the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) has made it its mission to increase Southern Nevada's nursing enrollment.

Dr. Shirlee J. Snyder, associate professor in Nevada State College's College of Nursing, recently released her book, the 8th edition of Kozier & Erb's Fundamentals of Nursing.
