Henderson, Nev. Nevada State College has selected Las Vegas-based architecture firm Dekker/Perich/Sabatini to program and design the college's nursing building the second building on its more than 50

As a demonstration of support and commitment to Nevada State College's School of Nursing, the Nevada Legislature earlier this month appropriated $3.5 million to the college to begin the planning and design process for its second, State-supported building: The Nursing & Science Building.

Thirty-two nursing students will be honored at Nevada State College's annual pinning ceremony Tuesday, May 22, at 4 p.m. at the Henderson Convention Center located at 200 S. Water Street, just off Atlantic Avenue.
