May was a good month for the Nevada State College (NSC) School of Nursing. With the annual pinning ceremony on May 9th, during National Nurses Week (May 6-12), a 100 percent pass rate of Nevada State students on the nursing licensure exam, and the hire of new Dean & Associate Professor Dr. Neal Rosenburg, the School of Nursing has a lot to celebrate.

Sharing her passion for the fields of nursing and nurse education, Nevada State College School of Nursing Lecturer, LaTricia Perry, has been selected as a winner in the Nevada Hospital Association's12th Annual Statewide Nurse Essay Contest.

Nevada State College Nursing Lecturer Susan Growe has been designated by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing(NCSBN) to serve on the 2013 item writing panel for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
