Melina Arriaza, a first-generation college student enrolled at Nevada State College (NSC) was accepted to participate in a weeklong training at the highly prestigious NASA Johnson Space Center Pre-Service Teacher Institute in Houston, Texas.

Nevada State College Associate Professor, Dr. Kevin Graziano was recognized as the Regents Teaching Award recipient during the Board of Regent's meeting on Friday, March 2, 2012.
