Aaron Wong, Ph.D.

Although I was trained as a formal mathematician in analytic number theory, I’ve taken a great interest in improving general math education outcomes since arriving at Nevada State College. I spent several years working on both the structure and content of our remedial coursework, trying to develop effective approaches of reaching our student population. I’ve also been involved with projects for the School of Education and the Clark County School District, as well as with projects in Mexico. In addition, I’ve worked with students in gaming, robotics, and 3D printing.

Dr. Wong regularly teaches: MATH 127 (Precalculus 2), MATH 301 (Introduction to Proofs), ART 240 (3D Modeling for 3D Printing)
