During my doctoral studies, I had a revelation that my calling was teaching. I believe that multiple disciplines have informed my journey as a lecturer and multiculturalist. Teaching at Nevada State College has given me the opportunity to share my experiences that empower and mentor students. Most of all, I feel a great sense of responsibility of working with first generation, underserved populations.
