With more than two decades of experience centered on empowering women and underrepresented students, her leadership promise is to amplify Nevada State’s social justice mission for students, faculty, staff, and the community. She holds a PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and three master’s degrees: an MA in Spanish from Middlebury College, an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Baltimore, and an MBA in Management from Johns Hopkins University’s Carey Business School. An avid runner and hiker, Dr. Gunn lives in Henderson with her wife and three lively rescue pups.
