Kinsey Wright, Ed.D.

My name is Kinsey Wright (she/her), and I am an Assistant Professor of Special Education. I joined the faculty at Nevada State in August 2022 after working as an Instructor of Special Education at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for ten years. Prior to transitioning to university teaching, I was a high school special education teacher and an elementary reading teacher. At Nevada State my teaching focuses on preparing future teachers to work with students with disabilities in general and special education classroom settings. My research interests center on special education teacher preparation and retention.
