I discovered my interest in crime and criminal justice at a young age. After graduating from the High School for Law Enforcement, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Law Enforcement and Police Science from Sam Houston State University (SHSU). My doctorate degree in criminal justice, with an emphasis in criminological theory, was also conferred by SHSU. I enjoy helping Nevada State College students achieve their academic and career goals through mentoring, placement in internships, and supervising the Criminal Justice Club. In my free time I enjoy overlanding, camping, and hiking with my dog, Gretel.
