Rileigh Merritt-Dietz

Hi, I’m Rileigh!

I moved from Jacksonville, Florida to Las Vegas, Nevada to work as an academic advisor at Nevada State College. I graduated summa cum laude from the University of North Florida in 2013, earning my Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Law and Philosophy. In 2016, I earned my Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Florida, specializing in Normative Ethics and Applied Ethics. After earning my graduate degree, I began teaching philosophy at various colleges throughout Florida and eventually returned to my alma mater, UNF, to work as an academic advisor. After serving as an academic advisor at UNF for two years, I came to Nevada State College to work as a Liberal Arts advisor. After working on the Liberal Arts team for over a year, I shifted to the Education/Speech Pathology team! Helping students has always been my passion—there is nothing more rewarding than helping students realize their potential and achieve their goals. I am so excited to get to know you and I look forward to assisting you on your academic journey!
