Hi, I’m Stefany!

I moved to Las Vegas from the Midwest to work at Nevada State with the fantastic Academic Advising Center team and Director of Academic Advising.  I received my Associate of Arts degree from Joliet Junior College and then went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Governors State University. I spent a lot of time on campus while working on these degrees, which helped me discover my passion for higher education and student success.  From there, I became the Graduate Assistant for the Dyson Wellness Center at North Central College, where I received my Master of Leadership Studies with a concentration in Higher Education Leadership. I have had the privilege of working with many incredible students, faculty, and staff members throughout my higher education journey and I aspire to give the students at Nevada State College the same level of help, support, and encouragement that each of my mentors have given me.
