Nevada State College is excited to host the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) Board of Regents quarterly meeting this week on Thursday & Friday, March 3-4, 2022. The full meeting agenda can be found here and posted on the RSC 1st floor bulletin board.
Dr. Vanessa Mari, Assistant Professor of Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL), and Dulce Monroy, Nevada State student, will provide the customary faculty and student presentations to the Board at approximately 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 3rd in the RSC ballroom. Dr. Mari will be discussing the efforts that Nevada State College has put forward to prepare teachers in the area of bilingual education. Ms. Monroy will be sharing her experience at NS and how it has helped enhance her journey in education. President DeRionne Pollard will be presenting the institution’s metrics and our legislative priorities.
