The Arts at Nevada State College: Live. Learn. Connect.
Our Office of Arts & Culture carries out the mission of enhancing living and learning through arts and culture on campus and in the community through a variety of programs and initiatives. Renowned Nevadan artists’ work distinguish the halls of the Rogers Student Center (RSC); Liberal Arts & Science (LAS) building; and Nursing, Science & Education (NSE) building and in our expansive plaza, back dropped by sweeping views of Mount Scorpion and the Las Vegas Valley.
“The entire practice of art is a product of cultural participation that begins with individual inquiry and eventually encourages a dialogue to engage its community. I believe that the Nevada State College Permanent Art Collection is a record of that cultural participation, a testament of their support of artists and facilitating the evolving cultural history throughout the communities of Southern Nevada.”

“It was an honor to contribute my art to the Nevada State College Permanent Collection. My paintings reinforce the importance of the thirst for knowledge and how important it is for survival. The Nevada State College Permanent Collection enriches the whole experience of attending the campus and gives the students a greater appreciation of creativity.”
